October 14-15, 2023
As we continue learning about King Solomon and the topic of mercy, we see that Solomon began to build a temple for the Lord. This is where God would meet His people and accept sacrifices. This points us to Jesus today, who offers us forgiveness, new life, and dwells within us if we trust in Him.
October 7-8, 2023
This weekend we begin our unit on King Solomon and the topic of mercy. Solomon, David’s son, was a wise king who wanted to do God's plan. Solomon wasn't perfect, but God had a plan to give His people a greater and wiser king-His Son, Jesus.
September 30-October 1, 2023
This weekend we finish up this unit on King David by reading Psalm 51. King David confessed his sins to God and spoke of His grace and compassion as he asked God to change his own heart. Next week we begin our unit on Solomon!
September 23-24, 2023
This weekend we read 2 Samuel 11-12, a very heartbreaking story of covetousness, deceit, and even death. Yet, God is a God of mercy and grace. David repented of his sin and God forgave him - but David learned sin always comes with a price.
September 16-17, 2023
This weekend we read 2 Samuel 6-7 and see how God made a covenant with David. We will continue studying the concept of grace and see how God would fulfill His promise through Jesus.

God is the judge over all the earth, and He always does what is right. God will punish the guilty. The good news of the gospel is that Jesus took the punishment our sin deserves, and everyone who trusts Him is declared righteous before God.
July 15-16, 2023
God made Saul king, but King Saul did not obey God. God sent His Son, Jesus, to be King over everything. King Jesus obeyed God perfectly, even to death, for our forgiveness and salvation.
July 8-9, 2023
God chose Saul to be the Israelite’s king - and with His help, Saul brought the Israelites together to defeat their enemy. Similarly, God sent us His own son, our eternal king Jesus. Jesus brings together everyone who trusts in Him to have victory over sin & death!
July 1-2, 2023
In this series, we will talk about why sin separates us from God. In 1 Samuel, we learn that the Israelites didn’t trust God’s plan for a heavenly king to rule over them. Instead, they wanted a king like the other nations around them. Thank you God for having a better plan to send Jesus to be the perfect King forever!
June 24-25, 2023
As we finish up this series, we are reminded that God takes sin seriously. People deserve to die for their sins, but God loves us and sent His son, Jesus, to defeat death by dying on the cross for us and rising from the dead.
June 17-18, 2023
In this lesson, we see Eli’s sons disobey God, and bring the Ark of the Covenant into a battle. When they lost the battle, the Ark was captured and the Israelites were sad and scared. Though at the time the Ark was important to God’s people as a reminder that God was with them, we can be thankful that God sent Jesus - God in the flesh - to die & rise again, so that we would no longer have to be separated from God.
June 10-11, 2023
In this lesson, we see how Hannah trusted God with her son by sending him away to serve God for his whole life. Samuel ended up being an important messenger for God’s people! God sent His own Son Jesus, The Word of God, to serve with his life, too. Just as Hannah thanked God for her son, we can thank God for sending Jesus to die for us.
June 3-4, 2023
In this lesson, we learn through the story of Ruth about family, faithfulness, and redemption. Ruth and her mother-in-law, Naomi, didn’t have any family and needed a redeemer. Sort of like how you and I need a redeemer, whom we have, in Jesus Christ!
