Sometimes it is easy to get caught up in the dreariness of everyday life, or to be disgruntled by our circumstances. What these lessons remind us of is that God hasn’t forgotten us. He loves us so much that He has an amazing plan to redeem us and bring us back to Him. We are blessed to have this collection of stories that point directly to Jesus - the Bible!

This 4th of July weekend, as we celebrate our country’s independence, let us celebrate our eternal freedom: the law of the Spirit of life has set us free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2) Let us stand firm in Jesus and not submit again as slaves to sin. (Galatians 5:1) Let us proclaim the good news of Christ: freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the prisoners! (Isaiah 61:1)

We hope you are healthy and well. We dearly miss our Desert Breeze kids, families and volunteers. We know that for all ages and stages, this time in our community has been trying. Please know that you are not alone! It is important to stay connected and in God’s Word. Let us know how our Children’s Ministry team can best support your family.

It has been great to see more of you in person for Family Worship. We hope you continue to use these resources and lessons whether you gather in family worship or stay home (and stay out of the heat)! Galatians 6:9 says, “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

Navigating through the recent changes in the world has been hard! These dbKids lessons are great reminders of both our calling and our comfort in Christ. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you or your family need anything.

We are excited to see you again this weekend for Family Worship! Due to the Children’s Ministry Area being closed during this time, we are continuing to provide our lessons online for kids to participate in at home.

Isaiah 40:8 says, The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.

Happy Mother’s Day! We are eager to get back together with you, our church family. Remember, we are more than a building!
