God made sheep
Today we are going to learn about a furry, soft, white animal called a sheep. Baby sheep are called lambs and they are so cute and wobbly when they’re little. The Bible talks about Jesus being the Good Shepherd and we the sheep, because He is in control and He wants us to listen for His voice and do what He says. The Bible says “For I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me – just as the Father knows me and I know the Father – and I lay down my life for the sheep.” That’s pretty special that He laid down His life for us.

FAITH REFINED, IDENTITY SERIES:
I am accepted.
God says people are created in His image. We were created to reflect God in the world and to bring Him glory, but something went wrong. Our identities have been broken by sin, but the Bible teaches us that God loves and seeks after people. He wants everyone to love and trust Him for salvation. God defines the true identity of all followers of Jesus. We are accepted by God because of His great love for us, not anything we do. We are accepted because He sent Jesus to rescue us from our sin and restore our relationship with God. There is nothing we could do to earn a place in God’s family, but because of the grace He lavishes (freely gives) on us, He has adopted us and calls us His sons and daughters.
