Happy New Year, dbKids family!
As we transition into the new year, Paul’s words about rejoicing come to mind. Not because the year 2021 holds any special power, and definitely not because our willpower is greater than it was last year - but because we are called to rejoice in the Lord ALWAYS, that His peace will guard our hearts in Christ Jesus. That is more good news than a new year can ever be!
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
- Philippians 4:4-8
LESSONS
Elijah - As we transition to in-person classes on Sundays, we are still providing virtual versions of our lessons in 2 groups. All age groups can learn about Elijah and how important it is to obey God always.
We hope you all had a safe, fun holiday celebrating the birth of our Lord. Let’s celebrate God’s gift of another day today… as well as the gift of a new dbKids Director! Watch the video below.
