dbKids Internship Program

We are taking applications for internships:

Commitment:

  • The internship will entail a minimum of 10 hours a week and are geared towards undergraduate students. Interns must be 18 years or older. Wednesday morning/or evening availability is a requirement as well as meeting weekly with the intern supervisor. There are both paid and unpaid internships available, but are based on availability.

Goal of Internship Experience:

  • Christian Ministries - To be able to have the knowledge to know how to develop, lead, and run a children’s ministry effectively.

  • Human Development & Family Studies: To be able to observe and engage in growth of children in a children’s ministry setting.

  • Family Life Education - To be able to be aware, identify, and incorporate the 10 Family Life Education Topics in a children’s ministry setting.

  • Behavioral Health: To be able to apply knowledge on how to holistically best support children & families in children’s ministry setting.

Application Review Process:

  • Send Cover Letter, Resume, to dbKids Pastor Bradley

  • Meet for 30 minutes Interview

  • Application & Interview will be reviewed by dbKids staff team and notification of status of application will be sent to applicant once completed.
